Housed in the Old Davidson County Courthouse, built in 1858, Davidson County Historical Museum exhibits Davidson County's original courtroom, complete with the judge’s bench, jury box and prisoners’ holding cage. Local artifacts, photographs and archival materials are also on display. The museum is located in uptown Lexington’s National Register Historic District.
